HELLO Palm Springs ~Please join us at the Palm Springs Art Museum next Thursday 12-8 pm for a Trunk Show, aka Pop-up. Actually I am using my mid-century collection of rigid vintage suitcases, so it truly is a trunk show, but not in the parking lot. Inside the museum shop, you can see my table filled with fun novelties.
Let me unpack novelties… spring miniature Op Art pendants, him, her, them necklaces and keychains, newly minted VOTE magnet buttons for your shirt or jacket, one-of-a-kind single notecards, silk and cotton camera and typewriter pillows, fresh pressed unisex t-shirts, totes, limited edition art blocks like the one Ted is holding so cutely, op art small editions on archival metallic as shown here… (Must see the pearlized sheen in living color).
This is totally different than the Rancho Mirage LIbrary exhibit where the large fine art just wrapped up the winter quarter. Now anytime, you can see their recently acquired “Art of Letters” and “WORD.” jumbo typewriters in the library.
This will be last chance to see, collect and connect through my art, until the new artist collective, Hi Des Artists, opens our new gallery and boutique. It’s my skip year for Highway 62 Art Tours, as planned since I began doing it in 2011.
