KeyWords exhibition is a visual statement that is about what is happening now.
The contemporary photography of mid-century cameras and typewriters that morphs into abstract geometric mixed media is digital and analog dialogue about the paradigm shift we are experiencing with the method and pace and intention of media. It provokes the comparison to be made. And begs the question, “Does democratization of the internet have any moral compass?”
Keywords has three meanings:
Extracted from one of my TypOwriter photographs, the “Art of Letters” is the obvious and physical meaning. Transformation of our keyboard and language is significant.
Being the necessary ingredient of websites, and communicating onto internet is a large abstract part of our digital lives and the second.
And last but not least, it finds the similarities of two abstract aspects of life, the information age and spirituality. Evolving into personal precepts, affirmations, meditations, and universal truths, keywords are inspired and abbreviated new form of poetry.
Please join us this Saturday, December 9th at 5-7 pm for the final reception at the gallery.
