My best artwork of analog media, with selected antique typewriters inspire reading, writing and literacy. Media Icons integrates history, education, and entertainment. It also illustrates the paradigm shift of tech changes in the ways we communicate. In these revolutionary times of AI and misinformation, LA Marler’s playful artwork of typewriters, rangefinder cameras, retro radios and antique TVs, is poignant statements, sentimentally hearkening back to simpler times.
Please meet me at the opening reception or by appointment, either at the Rancho Mirage Library during normal hours or at her private studio, adjacent to The Joshua Tree TYPE Inn. The large works are at the Library and 16×20″ limited editions are currently available at my private studio.
